Season 2 - Theme 8 - Look Back in Anger

From @TheScotchGirl:

You left the country. You left the relationship. You left me. You made a new life. You made a new relationship. You bought forth a new life in that new country. You left me with nothing to go on with, expect look back in anger.

From @GauravJagwani:

She was upset. Everyone asked her to move on.  She did. But, once in a while she would go back to the past and get angry again. But, no one found out as she did this in the privacy of her room. Luckily for her, the time machine was too big for any other room.

From @ashishshukul:

It was a scene of mayhem, there was bloodshed everywhere. There was no hope in sight as people scampered for cover. The sound of bullets being fired resonated cries of their innocent victims. Suddenly, everything fell silent. The audience shrieked with joy as the camera panned to a close-up of Bachchan walking into the frame.

From @darklingdiva:

Friendship. It's a beautiful word. But you always said it like it was some joke. Like I was some joke. A joke you went around telling to the world and laughing at. The memories have paled but sometimes I find myself burning with anger. Anger that could destroy you. Someday I might forgive you. Someday.

From @WickdWeirdWitch:

Flirting. Chasing. Proposal. Dating. Pregnancy. Heartbreak. Dumped.

Her best friend couldn't see her this sad. He dumped his girlfriend to marry her.

Birth.

Yet, she still loves the dumper.

Husband-cum-Best friend looks back at the day in anger, when he decided to marry her. His innocent-but-still-dumped GF also looks back at that day in anger!

From @thenesseffect:

Common friends had set them up. He liked what he saw; ‘twas love at first sight. She was beautiful, interesting, fun-loving... Who finds their soulmate on a blind date?! He didn’t want the night to end!

As she walked away he went, “Palatt…Palatt…”

She whipped around angrily and said, “Doesn’t work if you shout it!”

From @AnuNande:

The oak towered over him. He had built the tree-house with his grandfather before all the medication, the doctors and needles. Now other kids would enjoy it. He hoped that they would never have to understand that some goodbyes are forever. Don’t look back in anger. He clenched his fists, turned around and walked away.

From @TheFakeTimeLord:

She had mastered the art of turning her anger into poetry. She would pour the burning fire of her anger into vessels made of Parchment papers and tuck them away into the infinite void in her chest. They burned their way through the vessel and infected her from within. Her life force turned into smog.

From @Jonty_Pinto:

The places where they roamed in the city,
The messages they exchanged over chats,
The gifts that they presented each other,
The love that they both shared,

Memories brought pain and anger over the unforgettable road accident which took Riya’s life before Ravi’s eyes.

From @tweettabulous:

"Its over. I don't love you anymore. No, there isn't someone else. "

Crestfallen he walks away, hoping to live another failed affair. Wipes an angry tear and looks at her one last time.

She on one knee holding up a ring and  a "Marry Me You Idiot" poster.
"I was scared u'd never look back!"

From @VishalShriyan:

Other men needed to think about other women. Or film stars. Or neighbours. Or exes.

For him, there was no such need.

Her face was all he needed to recollect. Red with glorious fury. That first time he jostled her and she looked back in anger.

From @Oxymoronic_Me:

He was angry. All those unwanted killings. All those deaths. Years of deciphering wrong out of right. Was there even a point? They had lied. Fooled the world. Blood was not red. It was black. It had to be black. Only black could kill in the name of religion and relish the taste of it.

From @roshd:

I should look back in anger because
Deities are worshipped but people abused
I should look back in anger because
The world never gave me what was due
I should look back in anger because
I’m getting old but the world is new
Why I don’t look back in anger is
Because I have you

From @_souringpie:

He accelerated to his desk amidst cheesy jeers like “Oye draupadi!”, “oi Item!”, “basanti!” etc. He expected this after that role of Draupadi in the inter-school drama competition. Then came the chilling “Oye Rand!” He looked back angrily in that direction. Everyone giggled. He stared, sulked, smirked and settled. He was an actor after all.

From @pali1208:

He was a biker. He lived to ride. She skipped heartbeats every now n then . They fought.  Yet again. Flowers her only weakness. He called for her. She looked back in anger. It was his last florist visit. They could never fight again.
