Theme 116 - Girls

From @TheScotchGirl:

He knew why he was doing this.
This is what the city does to you.
When he needed help – no one came to his rescue, so why should he care?
His mother had abandoned him so he believed these girls deserved what they were getting.
He checked the men waiting out in line & smiled.

From @almost_humane: She wasn't sure. He was her boyfriend. They were watching TV.  he held her hand,She felt good. He gently kissed. She closed her eyes. And then she felt his hands pull her lowers and place it there. She wasn't sure. He was her boyfriend. She pushed him and went away. She was only 17.

From @deescjockey: The teacher had lectured the class blue in the face on how again, this term, girls had performed much better than the boys, and how the boys just weren’t taking studies seriously. Post lunch, someone had scribbled on the blackboard: Girls, you can top all your exams. You will still end up in the kitchen.

From @Thats_so_Sana:

"That girl was my best friend and first love. She rejected my proposal and fucked up my life for four weeks. I was depressed and dejected. Then, I resolved to get even. Every relationship of mine ends with the girl getting a heartache."

A casual conversation, for him.

An insight into his psychology, for me.

From @slokabs:

Male standpoint
Nagging, irritating, yet loved and revered,
Mothers, sisters, wives and daughters; You are awesome, we know that,
Yet we can’t help staring at others hotter!

Female standpoint
Shopping, fashion, gossip and emotion;
With women, make the best connection;
Evolving with times, brain over brawn,
Vulnerable but strong, we are always proving men wrong!

From @visualizashan:

“Push Push, don’t stop.”
“I can’t, I am tired now.”
“No! I know you can.”
“I am not a Superman.”
“But I have started to enjoy.”
“Idiot I am just a normal guy.”
“But Rohit does it for 15 mins.”
“Because he takes Proteins.”
“Ok stop, I am getting off the Cycle.”

From @roshd:

The girls at the orphanage were tense. The minister was here again and would sexually abuse someone tonight. Shanti,13 was most at risk. He fancied her.

Actually, mantriji was also at risk because unknown to him she was armed with a vial of concentrated acid smuggled in to her by the gardener Shambhu kaka.

From @flirtingshadows:
She had been blessed with too many of them. Three, to be precise. Daughters, they called them. She wasn’t particularly fond of them, except probably the first-born. The first-born had been her husband’s favorite. Had modeled her life to that of a son’s. Short hair, a masculine gait and a second name she held onto.

From @Crucifire:

I like you. You and you too.
You, on the other hand, are really pretty and I want you to know that.
I would totally do you. And her too.
I would love to collaborate with you.
And you, I want to feel those lips... just once, I promise.

So many girls, so little time!

From @sinpinklove: We sit together for lectures. We eat each others lunch boxes like we have never seen food before. We tease each other. We sing songs together. Our topics of gossip are endless. We take each other for granted and know that we are always there for each other. That is my girl gang - my bffs

From @vchatting:

"She got better marks , the teacher favours 'girls'!"
"She got the job because, 3 men on the interview panel, obviously!"
"She got the promotion. You don't know?, she's sleeping with the boss !"
In any story, where she's ahead, 'she' is a looker / hooker/ hustler/ fixer/ ditcher/ gold-digger, never deserving, never on merit !

From @DMysticFille_ :

“Why did you marry me?” she asked.
“I was captivated by the twinkle in your eyes.” He replied with a smile. She smiled back, appearing convinced. “Why did you marry me?” he asked.
After some thought she said with a mischievous grin “I was captivated by the twinkle of the diamond ring you got me.”

From @absoluteme:

She bites her nails so she is never tempted to paint them. Heels make her dizzy, she always wears shoes. She still participates in burping competitions. She indulges in pedicures but never in lacy lingerie. She opens doors, hails taxis and travels alone.

She is not a tomboy, but obviously is not one of ‘them’.

From @dimag_se_paidal: "Girls i tell you.." said Omi with his usual notorious expression. As soon as he said that, his friends gathered around him in anticipation. This happened every time he returned after dropping a girl back home. But today was something special. There was no story to be told. She was the love of his life.

Theme 115 - Direction

From @DeeSCJockey:

“I believe in destiny.”
“Good for you. Still, if you had to go east, would you turn west and let destiny take you to the right place?”
“If I had to go East, I’d go east.”
“So destiny or no destiny, you do what is needed, to get what you want. Everything else is rubbish.”

From @TheScotchGirl:

Sarita lost all their money & her family. They had nothing.
Raj was a good catch she thought to herself. Her parents were proud too.
He kept leading her on about his money, property & his effluent family connections.
He only wanted her for the money. He had nothing to offer. No life, no direction.

From @cheesewiththat: Last August he had asked for an year to get his life back on track, his finances up to scratch, and her. He had asked for a year, from himself, to get rid of her image from his head. He is on the pavement, begging for spare change, her memory as fresh as ever.

From @swordfish19: The traveller had reached a crossroad. On the left was a road bedecked with flowers. On the right was a gravelly road. The road in front looked a lot like the one he had travelled. He had to choose one. Turning back was not an option. There was no one in sight to guide him.

From @roshd: He looked nervous till he looked in my direction and our eyes met. I gave him my most cheerful smile and a thumbs up with an admiring glance. It worked like a steroid and my 6year old son went on to recite what was to be the prize winning poem at the inter-school fest.

From @anjana_murali: Frantically changing directions, she ran towards the other side. She realized that she was lost but had to find a way out. Suddenly, she spotted the unmistakable red ribbon before her. As she inched forward, the sound of her thudding heart was lost in the cheers that the crowd gave her, the gold medal winner.

From @CruciFire:

“Feel the softness on your cheek. Yes good good. Now, pull that back and lick it. Lick it from bottom up, feel it. Use your fingers if you want to. Yes that's the way... Perfect! Now look at me like you will eat it up.”

Newspaper headline – AMUL signs Sunny Leone

From @kanakkupullai:

Anticipation : “There is a big bomb blast in Mumbai! The market will plummet! I have sold the shares today and will buy them back tomorrow!”

The next day:

Reality settles in : “I don’t understand how this works. A big bang and still the share prices soar upward. What direction does it really take?”

From @slokabs: Disha was at the proverbial crossroads of her life! Science, Commerce, Humanities? Medicine, Engineering, Business, Jounalism? Choices, choices everywhere! And the difficult part – she had to make them herself! Having always followed instructions, Now was time to pick her paths and navigate her life! No compass, no GPS. She was the captain of her ship!

From @visualizashan: For 24 years my Mom told me how to do Right, later my Girlfriend taught me how I Left the Right.  Following opinions and suggestions has made me what I should not have been.  Today, I feel like a pinged pong which is Left with no Rights.

From @vagabondinact:

Take a left, another left and another left from there. Walk a bit and you will be there, he said.\

Wouldn’t I then be back here, I asked.

Such is life’s journey, he said.

Pointless then, I said.

No, directions are worthless; never ask another, for a journey that ought to be yours, he said.

From @sinpinklove: She was inexperienced, a virgin but the moment she saw him she knew it all.She needed no direction. She gave her sultry smile and gazed deep into his eyes. The effect she had on him shocked her. Not leaving his gaze she unbuttoned her shirt and let it fall on the ground. And then . . .

From @ushfajk:

His mother screamed at him, “your life has no direction!”
His friends told him not to lose direction.
His boss said he was misguided.
His girlfriend told him there was no turning back if they broke up now.
He looked at his reflection in the icy cave & smiled.
“I’m not lost, I’m just exploring.”

From @unsocialshadow:
He lost all sense of life when he lost her. It was as if someone had given him the wrong directions, an incorrect road map. He couldn't fathom how he had lived before her.

He had no idea how to live now. Or whether to live at all.

From @NumbYaar: He was walking aimlessly as the road suddenly disappeared. He had been following a big contingent but there was no trace of his comrades either. And watching him Little Ramesh told Little Suresh ‘See, once you erase the line, the ants get lost’.

From @vchatting: Crawling, toddler steps, learning to walk, walking briskly, running top speed,  turning left, right, hitting the dead end, reversing my way, missing the stop, the shortcut, trusting the wayfarer, getting waylaid and  losing my soul on way to his heart. Sitting alone, thinking where was I going and where did I reach...

From @MinolAjekar:

“We are lost Mohan”.
“But sweetie, the GPS says turns right after two kilometers”.
“But sweetie, it has been making us turn right for the last five kilometers”.
“It’s a straight highway honey, we will be fine”.
“ASK SOMEONE NOW”.

From @dimag_se_paidal: Nothing had ever seemed so difficult. shouldn't they have discussed this? surely the affirmative. But for now, Accepting the fact that both of them desired different things from life was getting tougher by the day. different directions, different paths. Seperation was the only option left. it was like a hindi movie except for the climax.

Theme 114 - Hope

From @PeaceOVent:

"Why should I hope? You can't live on hope."
"You can't. But it sustains you."

From @roshd: Today would be the date he’d propose to her. He looked at the long-stemmed rose in his hand. She loves me, Loves me not he muttered as he peeled off the petals. The last petal was peeled off to She loves me not. Ever the optimist, he broke the stem exclaiming triumphantly She loves me!

From @bassyc: He used to carry an extra baggage everywhere he goes. It was heavy, burdensome. Still he did. He still feels the void at the core. He still carries that baggage called hope. Even after knowing that she won't ever come back.

From @slokabs: Every morning, the old man woke up, bathed, wore a crisp white kurta-pyjama, combed his hair, wore his watch and finished breakfast. He spent the rest of his day in the lush gardens of the old age home –on a cane chair or wood bench – waiting for his son to come and fetch him home!

From @anjana_murali: Sharp from 5 in the morning, loudly calling out, she sells snacks throughout the day in the locals and makes a decent living. Years before when she was a victim of the flesh trade, she did not have an ounce of what people called ‘hope’. She fought back just once and won it.

From @minolajekar:

I have a dream, that politicians will do more good than bad.
I have a dream, that people will be judged on their achievements.
I have a dream, that people will be bias-free.
I have a dream, that humanity will supersede all other religions.
I have a dream that I can still continue to dream.

From @UnsocialShadow:

They were meeting again after a gap of endless months. She didn't know what to expect, and every second from her home to his door, her heart oscillated between hope - and dread. For what if his eyes didn't mirror her heart?
He opened the door.
She lost all hope.

From @writingchalk:

Sweat poured in buckets, down his forehead. It was as if someone held a shotgun to his forehead.

The pressure! What would the press say? How will he handle the questions?

“THIRTY-FORTY!” the umpire bellowed. His opponent was on match point. If he lost, then never again…

He served an ace! DEUCE! Maybe, just maybe…

From @vchatting: How could she have been so selfish to think of suicide? Who would bring up, her little one? His precious life, held promise. She couldn't afford to give in, to the ruins of her life, she resolved, unmindfully caressing his cold nose. His unintelligible drooling gurgle of joy, reaffirmed, she was, his 'only' hope.

From @TheScotchGirl:

She left without a notice.
He walked into an empty home.
The note lying on the floor, fluttering due to the wind.

Clock strikes 00.00HRS not a call or message.
No communication. Days go by.
He is practically living out of a suitcase because of work.
He comes back every 15th, the same date.
From @dimag_se_paidal: She felt her steps getting havier as she approached the airport lobby. With the hopes that the first world would treat her well, she stepped out of her father's 3rd world shoes, too heavy. She was made to believe that she was born to make it big, but her father never believed.

Theme 113 - Equations

From @TranceWriter:  He had suffered all his life, struggle for survival had worn him down and he lost his ability to see light, completely given over to darkness. She took it upon her to compensate him for lost years, she would make him happy.

From @slokabs: She added to his joys, reduced his sorrows, multiplied his responsibilities and shared them too. When they were with each other, they didn’t need anyone else. When they weren’t with each other, it didn’t much matter whoever else they were with. Their equation was what all couples shared and yet it felt unique and special!

From @TheScotchGirl:

He never loved anyone like her. She didn’t love him. Simple.
The whole plan was perfect, why were her equations going wrong now??
Stabilize him. Once better, walk away gradually. End it. Nicely.
Why the fuck is he on his knees now??
She was not up for this. It sucked the life out of her.

From @dimag_se_paidal: The bond I shared with my step brother(brother from a different mother) was something out of this world. Dad was still single, because of his violent streak. The streak that made us come as close as we were. We couldn't thank the violence enough. It gave us the strength to run for our freedom.

From @RuthSaldanha: 'No!!!', her 13-year old daughter shrieked, 'I will not tolerate that tramp! She is NOT my Goddamned "Other Mother"!!! I want my father back!!! God!!! I hate you!!' As she watched her daughter storm out, her new wife glanced up over her paper, 'Well, you did upset the equation...'

From @roshd: I remember life when it was a linear equation, highest power was one- me. Then I got married and it grew into the quadratic form- the highest power was two. A few years down, life is now in the stage of simultaneous equations which need to be resolved together to get the right answer.

From @PeaceOVent: Sparks flew when they met. He was positive but she was a double negative. They were explosive when apart, strong and powerful when together. The canceled each other out yet, intensified their existence. Tailor made ions, hydrogen loved sulphurous, becoming one, corrosive but stable acid.

From @sinpinklove: She sat dreamily admiring Prof. Anuj as he was teaching her favourite subject, costing. He gave the class a challenging sum.She got the equation right and timidly gave the answer. He looked at her sternly and then gave his rare but heart taking smile. She had a story to narrate.

From @writingchalk:

Why ex…?

I don’t need her. If SHE wants to come back to me, so be it.
We never hit it off anyway.
I wonder how we got together.
Our relationship was an unusual problem.
That’s why I never went looking for my ex.

My thoughts were interrupted, “… find the value of x, students!”

From @vagabondinact:

2+2=5 he said. She rolled her eyes, sat next to him and corrected. He was 6.
2(a+b)=2Abs he said. She patiently explained to him. He was 16.
C2H4+H2O= Alcohol he said  mischievously. Impishly, she leaned over his shoulders and wrote the answer for him. He was 18.

He had learnt young that pretty girl+act little dumb=life set hain boss.

Theme 112 - Contempt

From @pinkfluid: She looked away amidst all the chaos the bomb has caused. People were running all around her. Some gathered in circles to look at the only person who was killed. None helped him in his suffering. “Maybe they could have saved him from the bomb. Then he would die at the hand of Dementors.”

From @servantofkrsna:

"As soon as I see you settled in life, I'd waste no time in leaving this house." She said in a matter of fact tone.

"It's easier said than done considering the society we live in." He remarked.

"Contempt is a very strong emotion, son. Makes me indifferent. "

From @TheFraudMallu:

Nayan had his eyes fixed outside the window.  Anagha and Sumukh, holding hands, were seated on the floor. Jay and Neharika were still arguing and finally Neharika shouted rather screamed “Contempt kiya Jay. Apologise kar”

Startled, Nayan turned around and asked “Kaun tempt kar raha hain tujhe”

Moral: Dear Ex Girlfriend Your Delhi Accent Sucks

From @haemlet:

The mirror wouldn’t lie to her. Right?

She looked at herself again and again. Her hair flowed beautifully. It was much longer now. Her lips looked luscious. She was dressed well, and looked presentable. It was strange for her to admire herself, yet she could see that she liked it. Then why hadn’t he.

From @TheScotchGirl: Sheila knew she bagged this one but Neha was just one point away. One point away err well she was everyone’s favourite. Sheila walks into HRD hoping for some information, no one’s there. Neha’s personnel file spread on the desk.  Damn it she is two points ahead of me Sheila makes the change, sorry Neha.

From @slokabs: “My dear brothers and sisters! I am glad to see you all here, showing your support and confidence in me as I assume the mantle of Chief Minister. As a token of appreciation, please collect your coupon for a free air conditioner as you leave.” Manish spat contemptuously and switched off the TV in disgust.

From @CruciFire:

The Dark Knight.
Ocean's Eleven.
Mission Impossible.
The Italian Job.

Movies that lure me into robbing, stealing or committing felony.

Con-tempt, the emotion they evoke!

From @roshd: She looked at him with contempt as she visited him at the asylum. A vegetable. She had proved he was crazy and violent in court and had him confined to the sanatorium. She was enjoying his wealth as he rotted away. She didn’t expect him to throttle her to death. Paagal kuch bhi kar sakta hai.

From @monathais:

"The forest had always been her mysterious place.
Few dared touch its black-leaves.

Spells and spills protected its magic treasure.
Then He came and asked her to erase it. She wept bitter tears. She suffered. She cursed.

“Why would men like something so ugly?” she asked herself, looking down into the mirror.
She felt naked."

From @JeeveSobs: He continued making the same mistake again and again, and it got continually exploited again and again. Finding no other alternative, he finally emailed, with helpless hands, asking for help to fix his network's security. The 16 year old complied, replying in contempt to the 30 year old professional web administrator.

From @vchatting:

Why are we 'airing' the contest for 1hour and not 4?
Boss, when the medium is 'Radio', with an 'average listening time' of 12mins, who will stick for 4hours to win those dumb coupons? Even an hour is a stretch...
In 20years experience, I've made every contest work...
Atleast 'try' to be logical, Boss!

From @BoozeSexSundry: She left the horde clanking glasses with fake smiles. Backless dresses, neon ties. He sat beside her on the empty stool. Not maintaining eye contact, she acknowledged his presence and shifted in her seat, her chipping black nailpaint, chipping further. ‘Who ARE you sitting beside?’ echoed voices. Voices he contemptuously ignored. Voices she indirectly thanked.

From @PeaceOVent: The lights were off. She was alive in the silence of the night. She turned on the television, flipping channels aimlessly. Scene after scene of incoherent thought filled her senses. Damn this idiot tube, she thought. My Shaw beckons. The lights were on.

Theme 111 - Character

From @slokabs: Reena had to look her part. Her stylist tousled her hair a bit, smudged some of her red lipstick and set her sari so that her slender waist was visible more than usual. Reena was uncomfortable. Playing the part of someone with loose morals was difficult, because it was far removed from her real-life persona.

From @Sneak_Speak: She was beautiful – as they all are. She was a devoted companion, a loyal friend, and the love of my life. But there was so much more to her. From the day she first came into my life, to the day she was so abruptly taken away from me, I knew that dog had character.

From @writingchalk:

“Sir... don’t fire him, please. He’s such a nice guy. Always cheerful, and a great team member. The girls say he’s a ‘take-home-to-meet-parents’ guy.”

“He has to go! What good has he done for the company anyway?”

And absent-mindedly, I said aloud, “It’s not who you are underneath, it’s what you do that defines you.”

From @swordfish19: Is any profession moral today? Professions have become means to earn money. Lawyers defend the wrong guy, doctors operate for money and teachers sell education. Heck, even priests earn in the name of religion. Profession is no longer a calling. Even the character printed on that bank note must be squirming, falling into these hands.

From @nirmalad: There were no cell phones then. She waited, her fingers trembling and tears welling up in her large, evocative eyes. She waited for the phone to ring. To hear his voice. But there came none. Surely, there was a miscommunication. Something was amiss. Not one to disown... he was not devoid of character.

From @sinpinklove: She lived a life of her own.She travelled the world. She smiled at strangers. She spoke with her heart. She danced with her soul. She slept with random men. Her life had no boundaries. Society called her "characterless".Gen Y called her "liberated"

From @PeaceOVent: Dress removed carelessly. Head, less so.

From @michramiah: She cried when they experienced despair, she laughed when they made sarcastic comments. She smiled when they found love or success, she yelled when they tore each other apart. The characters in her favourite show were part of her life. Her own family hadn't heard from her in years.

From @roshd:

"Who was that lady whose voice I heard in the background when I called? Don’t lie I know you weren’t in office.”
“That was Sheila.....”
“How dare you roam around with that characterless bitch!”
“ I love it when you get this jealous! She helped me select this ring for you. Will you marry me? ”

From @CruciFire:

My dear friend reading this post, YOU are inside a game.

A MMORPG being played out in real time.

When you were born -
Stats:
      Lives – 1 | Character - 100%

Challenges:
      Lies – 10%
      Cheating – 15%
      Harm - 25%

How much % do you have left, my friend?

From @vchatting:

Dad, I saw you hugging Aunty.
No, you're mistaken.
No, I saw you ; I'll tell mom.
Please don't tell mom, it'll upset her. You are misunderstanding. Aunty was in pain and I was comforting her. As friends. Forget, it happened. Take this 100rupees, buy your friends some chocolates ; go and play. Ok now? Good boy!

From @visualization: She always wants me to share everything with her, but will always hide everything from me. She thinks she always has answers to my problem and I am the problem to all the answers. Men who want their girls to be like playstation end up with an encyclopedia. Girlfriends, Girlfriends…… What Character

From @absoluteme:

Everyone adored him, children waved at him and grandmothers bowed in greeting and asked for his blessings. After all, he played Ram in the local Ramleela.

Once, he drank a little too much and chased a teenager girl to the deserted plot at the end of the lane.

That night, he played a different role.

Theme 110 - Lovers

From @slokabs: Kim clicked away excitedly. She had never seen such craftsmanship before. The caves, in her opinion, were treasures, unexplored and priceless; Pillar after pillar of exquisite and patient handiwork. Men and women, single and pairs, in myriad poses – graceful, erotic or simply attractive!

Love always inspired Art. And Art had always been her first weakness.

From @flirtingshadows: Their fingers danced upon their keypads. Disengaged words with disjointed emotions in disconnected worlds. Lovers they were not. Time had long robbed them of such intimacies. They were friends, on a good day. Strangers, on some others. Cool, detached and dispassionate, with carefully measured words, toned down emotions and a thin layer of ice.

From @featheringhigh: They were lovers, hearts and souls entwined. It seemed like their life had started that way and they wished it would also end that way. It wasn’t meant to be though, she was plucked away, to adorn someone else’s love. He was left there, maybe for a goat. They wilted away, their love lived on.

From @swordfish19: The huge library was teeming with all sorts of people. Hindus, Muslims, Christians, fat, thin, bald, male, female, young, old, religious, agnostic, cunning, kind, generous, miserly, dark, fair, tall, short, doctors, engineers, teachers and so on and so forth. All these differences did not matter here. What mattered was their common love for books.

From @mixelrandy: I promised myself that it’d be different this time. That I would hook up instead of making love. I gave my body to him, felt his touch, let him excite me. We groped, grabbed, scratched, throbbed, screamed, convulsed and finished explosively.

But when he got up to leave afterwards, my promises meant nothing.

“Hold me?”

From @sneak_speak:

"Let’s do this."
"We shouldn't."
"Doesn't mean that we couldn't."
"What about your wife?"
"We used to be lovers once. Now we’re just friends."
"Can’t we be just friends?"
"Not tonight."

From @vagabondinact: You see them, dotted at regular intervals, on the long concrete promenade facing the sea; on the cut of small rocky patch in the sea, oblivious to the sun, the rains, the gales, the waves, mindful only of each other’s presence. Blind in love or maybe just that proverbial cat drinking milk with closed eyes!

From @roshd: Sheena was excited to introduce Raunak to her BFF Fiona. Fiona was a good judge of character. Raunak was intelligent, kind and very witty.Sheena was madly in love with him and wanted them to get along. His first statement sealed the deal. “Wow! You are beautiful!” he exclaimed. People generally seemed to notice only Fiona’s dark complexion.

From @_Nehu: He would travel 2hours to give her surprise, she would do what he likes, he would wait for dinner till she arrives, and she would crack jokes to make him laugh. He started enjoying life with her, she started growing in life. Lovers who know, they are husband and wife – arrange marriage full of love.

From @sinpinklove: We wait impatiently for each others messages. We find excuses to call each other. We ditch plans that do not involve either of us. We steal smiles when others are not watching. We enjoy each others silence. We take those slow walks hand in hand.We kiss goodbye. So......are we lovers ?

From @ponderpuffman:  For a moment she falls for him. For a moment he catches her. For a moment she tells him everything. For a moment he listens to her silences. For a moment she remembers him. For a moment he forgets her. She will never reach his truth. He will never kiss her soul. They’ll never meet.

From @binivijan: It was that time of the day again; his daily chore. She emerged from her house to catch her daily at 11:00. He followed her till the station; this time determined to present her flowers, confess his feelings. She blushed. “I already feel we are lovers - after all we see each other every day”

From @Crucifire:

“Kris, the theme for today is 'Lovers'!” *wink wink*
“Today's theme is SO us, na Kris?”
“Such a nice theme... will you write about us Kris?”
“Kris, you never write anything about us EVER” *sob sob*
“No use of having a writer boyfriend”

“Vivek Tejuja.. I WILL KILL YOU!”

From @PeaceOVent: Jeff was introspective. His friends adored him and he loved some back. He found himself beautiful, with a sturdy build, melting eyes, disarming smile. He mused and wondered what was wrong with him but couldn't come up with anything. Alas, the only thing he was guilty of was narcissism.

From @anjana_murali: The cool breeze swept across their faces as they sat atop a small bench overlooking the huge expanse of sea in front of them munching sweet corn. They were just one of the various lovers sitting, enjoying, but there was something about the sea, or maybe it was love which made them feel absolutely unique.

From @dopeywriter:

Distance was their enemy they couldn’t defeat. They were the enslaved by phone calls, chats, and emails.

She was impulsive. He was not. He saved, planned and landed in her city. His phone rang. It was her. He picked up smilingly. And then, his face turned pale.

She said, “Surprise! I’m right outside your flat.”

From @aaliznat: Its been 5 years since he last saw her. And 5 before that. Always multiples of 5. Marriage, kids, cities, nothing could change how they met. The same frenzy, the same tearing hurry and the same passion. Because they always met as lovers, always. Nothing less, maybe more sometimes but never less.

From @vchatting:

You don't really love me.
Ok, am done with this conversation. Your accusations and this insult. Fine, if you think I don't love you, I don't.
So let's break up then. Why be together?
Sure, if you want it that way. I'm done with proving to you everyday.
Can we talk? Like properly....
Sure....

From @absoluteme:

“...walking down the ruins of Purana Qilla, you will feel a peculiar heaviness in the air, like it’s laden with moments. As you breathe, you will be reminiscent of times you’ve never lived in. Time is captured within those ruins. And somewhere there, scribbled on the walls, A and Y are in love for ever.”

From @Unsocialshadow:

The moment I finally melted in your arms. When your touch went from care to love to lust in a matter of mere seconds. The moment when we went from friends to lovers.
The precise moment the twinkle in your eyes died. When your hand didn't automatically seek mine. When my fingers itched to hold your hand, but couldn't. The moment when we went from lovers to nothing.

From @krishna_marathe:

She could be all four seasons in one day; sometimes striking lightning just to shock the other person.
“I think I’m incapable of feeling dizzy with love!”
He slips the solitaire ring back in his pocket and nods, being her understanding lover.
He couldn’t become her husband. He had to be her lover.

From @visualization:

She wishes to express her pleasure, I want to share my pains.
She wants me to find a lover for her, but I see my love in her.
I am scared to tell her she is more than a friend.
Is friendship the way to love or love the way to losing a friend?

From @minolajekar: "Babe, it's not you it is me".

From @vivekisms: Hands embroiled. Hungry mouths. Never getting enough of each other. Never wanting more. Strange bedfellows. Strange angsts. Lovers, inscrutable lot.
